hmm says... just curious since Pac-Cotto is almost being finalized. We all questioned Hatton's opposition against southpaws and we saw what happened. Analyzing Cotto's career against southpaws, what is your take? How do you think he will fare against Pac? What will be the keys to victory in terms of styles matchup? a right hook lead? I only recall Judah and Corley as notable southpaws that Cotto has faced but not sure how well he fared with others.
he has a tought time with them but meh who has a good time against them? also judah corley and quintana are VERY good southpaw operators. i think he can deal with the left handed stance well. his left hook almost lands on the kidneys. hatton was a left hooker who uses his speed an agility to stay tucked next to the left hand of an orthy....when that is taken away he walks into a right hand.. collazo, urango, magee all caught him with the rigth hook hard. punctuated by pacs counter "right hook and roll under". cotto paces himself well, uses a jab and has better combinations
hatton is also perfect against southpaw until he faced pac. my point is, even you're winning against southpaw, the question is, are you having a hard time during th fight? i think that's what's the TS wanted to know, not the record. like what i said, hatton didn't lose to a southpaw (before pac), but was clearly having hard times against them.
hmm says... shiii I guess I should've polled this one as well. I'm surprised that some believe it won't bother him even though he is 3-0 with 3KO or how ever. Just wondering if there are vulnerabilities which Team Pac can capitalize on that anyone sees.
