Cotto vs Trinidad

Cottos despite the height difference if we're talking about the one that outboxed Shane hes definitely going to win some rounds. Being they both slow starters, but Cotto the faster, more manueverable fighter hed easily win the first rounds. Like the great Marquez Tito knew how to turn a fight around by the second half with that short sneaky left hook left uppercut he had and momentum would usually shift to his side.. I think Tito by brutal ko in the 8-9th, not a tko like Margo or Manny.

 

People underrate Tito's skills, he wasnt just a brawler, he was a good boxer, had a good jab and he had power in both hands, his straight right was not so much underrated but under-appreciated.

Cotto gets overrated because he has a nice personality and he was for a while there the man to beat at 147.

There isnt nothing wrong with Trinidad's chin, cotto isnt hurting him. Yeah vargas dropped him but vargas was a solid junior middle who couldnt even make 147 and of course hits harder than cotto, and trinidad got right back up and destroyed him.

 

Not only were Winky and Hopkins bigger than Tito but they also amongst the top ATGs ever at 154 and 160.

trinidad never lost at welterweight i love cotto but i loved tito more and tito would beat him though he would be a little bothered by that jab
