Vargas would take care of Cotto in about 8-10 rounds. Vargas was as good if not a better boxer than Cotto, had a better chin, and had better power.
Cotto at no point, and does not now, possess the power to have stopped or likely even hurt an undamaged mint condition Vargas. Laughable.
As big as Clottey or bigger. Indeed. I have to differ, CX7. Cotto is not a tall Welterweight, but he's exceptionally thick and powerful, and a big man in terms of body mass and physical strength. Cotto is a good sized Welterweight, and always has been.
Cotto fits in at welter fine...He is an average build and maybe slightly shorter then average height. He is not a small welter...there just have been some huge ones there recently.
