I would put the odds on this fight 60/40 in Williams favor

Williams wins only because of the Physical advantages, Williams should be at middle fighting Pavlik and Abraham. Cotto is a better boxer all the way around but to ask him to outpoint a 6'1"guy with an 84 inch reach at 5'7" and 67inches is bull****. If Will where 5'10" he would get a beatdown.

    Thank you!

This is the worst excuse ever! There are tons of guys who fight at the "wrong" weight classification. Under the current rules (which all these boxers are aware of) if he makes the weight, that's where he fights. ****in whiners!

I see a fast paced give and take fight until about the 10th-11th round when Cotto will start to show the effects of the Margo fight and is again forced to take a knee or two until his corner can save him from further abuse. His mind and body will never again be able to absorb as much punishment as they could prior to the margo fight.

Really difficult to say but Paul Williams is just so ****ing tall. Cotto would have to fight a very intelligent fight to win.

Might have to wait for a couple performances. His next fight will no doubt be a super soft touch to get his confidence back, and everyone will be saying "Omg hes back!" "Did you see the way he beat that taxi cab driver!?" "Margo better run and hide now!" We wont know for sure until he is back in there with an elite fighter with some pop and a chin. That could take a long time.

Don't think it will take a long time, the way I see it he will get an easy yet good fight next, Cintron is already being mentioned as a possible next opponent and after that it would most likely be against an elite fighter. His next fight could also answer questions if it's Cintron.

If Quintana could get in the inside of Paul Williams, Cotto has the potential. And I think we all know Cotto has more skills than Paul Williams, which doesnt mean much because Cotto also has more boxing skills than Margarito and we know how that turned out. But styles make match ups and Margarito's effective pressure, physicality, and durability is what got to Cotto. However, Cotto's chin at this point is highly suspect, especially against bigger opponents. Paul has the power to put out Cotto. Cotto would have the ability to hurt PW to the body, but the question is if he would have a plan to enable him to do body work. i would favor Cotto in this one.
