Have you not seen him or something?

I favor him over Cotto, he's too big and he is skilled despite not being a brute force.

No I don't think he'll beat Cotto but the problem is that he IS a natural JMW who happens to be a very good boxer and who will have a pronounced reach advantage on Cotto. Cotto on the other hand is a natural JWW who is moving up to evade the minefield that is the current WW division. :admin

Foreman was quite impressive in his last fight, but I haven't seen much of his power yet. Cotto is the big leagues and a step up. Cotto may have lost a couple of big fights, but he was very competitive against Margarito - who was in the form of his life - and against Pacquiao, P4P no.1 atm, he was also very good.

Yes he is very skilled and , once again, he is a NATURAL JMW whereas Cotto already looks big as a WW. The reach factor is overplayed sometimes because Cotto is at a reach disadvantage against everyone at 147 and above, but if you couple Yuri's reach advantage with his skill set and Cotto's lack of familiarity with his own body at 154, he may have a problem.

Foreman has zero power and that's definitely why Cotto's camp is so comfortable with him as a matchup despite Foreman's skills and reach. In the grand scheme of things , his punches probably feel like those of a solid JWW and not a JMW.

Well i only saw him in with a fat slow labouring pile of **** that resmebled what once was a tricky southpaw in Daniel Santos, and he looked like a brilliant amateur, kept his guard up, didnt throw anything he didnt have to, and concentrated on winning rounds and racking up points.

Whether thats enough to beat a 5'6 Cotto at JMW, i dont know, depends whether Cotto displays any of his skills pre Margarito

I don't see Cotto having a problem with him.

I think thats how most people see it, however the situation for me resembles ODLH vs Sturm, and we know all about that robbery

Guys at higher weights, with a reach and height advantage, who rely on fundamentals are a total B*tch to fight, there's a reason Roach didnt want Manny taking that road.

IMO it's about cotto cutting the ring off and working thin body of yuri. and 100 % fights is going to be good because cotto is in it

Arum's putting Cotto in against a guy who can't bang, for obvious reasons, but this might come back to bite him in the ass if Foreman
    embarrases Cotto.

I'm a huge cotto fan, i have a good feeling he will win. but there obvious doubts as this is a weight cotto hasnt fought at and on recent form, he aint spectacular. what if cotto loses, will he be forced to retire since his stall will defo lose value.

It all depends on what Cotto has left.

if cotto can fight with some confidence he should win but he's getting to the point of no return with his bad habits in the ring and outside the ring.. maybe is too late for him to right the ship who knows
