when was the last time cotto made 140 to fight in the 140 division?

i think if oscar came in at a healthy weight that night, oscar would have got whooped either way, but not as bad. manny would have looked like a warrior if he had struggled that night

 

I like 144 too......but I don't think PAC cares what weight its at. Roach is anther story. He's doing his job. He's looking out for the interest of his fighter whom has made sacrafices to get to the top. Cotto is a great challenge for PAC and by all means has the power to stop him.....I just don't know if Cotto has the style to overcome the many natural and learned abilities PAC know has. "Good big man" vs "Great smaller man". Not an easy fight to predict on paper.

Cotto used to fight at 140. That weight is too low, but a catchweight of 142/3 should be fair. He is bigger than Manny so he needs some handicap.

Unlike PBF - JMM, Manny is calling the shots in this match-up.
