Cotto, Ward, Dirrell, Gamboa, Kahn, Berto, Donaire, and Pav

i can see cotto and berto doing it..... Ward?... i doubt it, same with Donair Pav.... Kahn and Gamboa, not sure.... Kahns fights are pretty flashy so he might be able to aswell... and apparently people are attracted to Gamboa's fighting style aswell, but 500,000?... not sure about that, but we'll see

But ok honestly here is how I think it is:

Cotto: Yes, he will be a superstar within a year

Ward: No, not a fan-friendly style and not good enough to just keep winning

Dirrell: not sure, but I lean towards no

Gamboa: Yes. I am a hugger, but the guy is a one-of-a-kind and has a fan pleasing style. I think he is sure to be at minimum a star or possibly a superstar within 2-3 years

Khan: He already is a star, but he will not be a superstar because he is an upset waiting to happen. I see him getting KTFO by a B level opponent and then retiring while young because he already makes good money for his fights

Berto: I see him being a star but not a superstar. He will be given boxing lessons by an elite level guy in the future.

Donaire: No. Just doesn't have the skills imo

Pavlik: Yes. He already is a star and he will make it to superstardom within a year or two.


So out of the list I think Cotto, Pavlik, and Gamboa will be superstars. Berto being a star (Khan is already there for the most part) and the rest I don't think so

Im not sold on him as an ATG, but I just love the hype hes getting, its hard not to be sucked into it.

 

Settle down buddy. I'm just being realistic. I LOVE Berto but I don't think he will make it to superstar status. He is crowd-pleasing, so he is sure to be a star though

I'm not sold on him being an ATG either actually. He has 10 pro fights and he's 26, so unless he goes BHop style it will be tough for him to rack up enough wins (against top guys) to get him the status. Make no mistake though; he going to be an absolute ANIMAL for about 5 more years :yep

 

Khan already is in the UK... Gamboa doesn't hve the appeal. He doesn't have a strong national group of followers, doesn't speak english (to the best of my knowledge), and is just too old. By the time casual fans really become aware of him it will be too late, although he does have an exciting style.

Cotto is well on his way.

Don't know about the rest. Very doubtful.

Just click on "user cp" (in yellow underneath the forum lists on the left). Then under setting and options click "edit avatar". Since you already have the picture in your profile you should be able to click browse and then find your picture (where it is in your computer) and get it in there. Thats all there is to it!
