Pavlik has the biggest potential but seems to have no opponents, after Taylor it seems like there isn't another huge fight out there. Cotto has the opponents, so I think he can do it. Khan is already decently big but as already said he looks like an upset waiting to happen. Gamboa has potential but he has to stop acting so cocky or he's going to get caught by the wrong guy before he gets there.

You bring up a good point; the opponents have to be there to do it. Its too bad Abraham isn't a bigger name, cause he's a great fighter and makes an excellent win on Pavliks resume (assuming he wins of course). Gamboa actually does have some big names out there at 135, and he's going to enter his prime very quickly (or be forced to anyways). It will be very interesting to see how he pans out......

Well way to go out on a limb there Freddy. He's the easiest and obvious choice! Who would your next pick be (if you had to pick one)?

Berto vs Cotto early 2010, both will still be have an 0. It will be the biggest attraction in a while. Mark my words

Pavlik and Cotto...They both have huge fanbases and are constantly growing with every fight.

    :good

and btw I think that a Berto/Cotto showdown would be great in a few years. That would have some fireworks like Margo/Cotto surely will

He certainly has a future, I just don't see him being any sort of real star. Imo he is a poor mans JMM. If you watch JMM (younger version) and Donaire they are some what similar, except JMM had better abilities. His counterpunching was cleaner and crisper, he didn't get hit flush very often, and ive seen Donaire move in straight lines too many times too whereas JMM almost always has a circling motion. Time will only tell, but I think Donaire will surely fall short of becoming a JMM (who is a star but not a superstar)
