I expect that sort of nonsense from a troll website like BN24, but not for people to actually stoop down to the level of actually believing their ****.

Sure, the fight was more or less a carbon-copy of the first one (only difference being Cotto doing a better job of running/spoiling and Marg's face not being able to hold up), but it's silly to suggest Marg would have stopped him. He was coming on strong and was getting to Cotto a little more, but, with only two/three rounds left, the window was closing rapidly, and there was next to no chance of him stopping a Cotto that had plenty left in the tank.

Why do boxing fans rely on 'reporters' opinions to form their own? These guys get paid for a reason!

In my opinion Cotto would have lost the last few rounds but done enough to comfortably win, I don't believe he was on the verge of getting stopped at all.

Eh, I don't know about being stopped, but Margarito was definitely coming on stronger. . . Like a "hurricane freight train. . . " And he wasn't exactly NOT hitting Cotto, although he wasn't taking the punishment he was in the first fight. . . Who knows, though? 3 rounds is a lifetime in the ring against a guy like Margarito. I feel like Cotto would have made it the distance regardless, though . . .

Prolly a good stoppage, because Cotto was also dishing out hard, clean punches to that eye. . .
