i think both fighters are moving in opposite directions, the comment that clottley was scared of cotto's power in the late rounds was cute at best. but if you really believe that then that is your right homie. i was ringside for that fight (cotto vs clottley) cotto looked slow and his wide ass body punches looked even wider. he still is open for an upper cut, i am not sold on pacman having a weak body or cant take body punches..time will tell but what i have seen is cotto taking a hell of alot more punches and on his bike alot more in the later rounds (going back to that comment about clottley being scared) lol i hope cotto wins, i think it 's real bs to have a ww belt on the line and fight at a catch weight!!!! if cotto wins then all of the other ww's can get back to business @ ww.
Cotto works well behind his jab which is much better than Pac if he uses like he did with Mosley and Clottey he got a very good change to beat PAC.
Cotto is a great fighter, but is getting old quick ( getting hit a lot) . Paq is fighting him at the right time . I'm still not convinced Paq can handle Cotto's size and power. This could be the fight where Paq outboxes Cotto early and then gets caught by a big shot.... I don't know how he will fair when hit clean by Cotto. Going to be a great fight.
this fight gets overlooked because of how pac took over the fight in the 2nd half. But the 1st 5 rounds are some of the best boxing i've ever seen. From both parties.
I've analyzed this fight in my mind so many times and I agree with Nostradamus - there is absolutely NO way Pacquiao can handle Cotto's punches. This fight lasts only as long as Pacquiao avoids the left hook to the body. The first one that lands, Pacquiao is going down for good. Cotto KO5
