    hERE IT IS :

By King Columbus THE SPOKESMAN Thursday 25 of March of 2010 09:24 The SPOKESMAN/File CAGUAS? Miguel Cotto, who had insinuated that the 2010 would be its last year like professional boxer, let the door to continue active after his brawl of June 5 in the Yankee system Stadium of New York against Yuri Foreman open, monarch of the 154 pounds of the AMB, and she did not discard that to win there is one second brawl with the Philippine Manny Pacquiao. In the last years in Bairoa we lost the emphasis to him, a little the affection to this but everything is we recovered if it or not in these months that are approached. Perhaps we recovered if it there will be Miguel Cotto for a little more than ten months? , it emphasized. When asking him again on the possibilities of facing Pacquiao, and of winning, to the winner between Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr it said that everything is submitted to that it recovers the spirit. And what we lost of the sport and thus it will be. Everything is in how we will be able to assimilate and to enjoy this training. We recovered if it we will follow a little more. We have always worked with that idea and we will see see what happens to the changes and the new additions in the equipment? , it declared. The Spokesman published the past week that Emanuel Steward, the famous trainer and analyst of HBO, will be at least in charge of its corner for its fight of June 5 and to the boarded being on this individual it did not deny it nor it confirmed. We are open to work with that the group decides but with a trainer who can take to us to which we want of the hand of Joe Santiago. Still we have several on the table and it will be known to several days of the press conference? , it limited. Nevertheless, the Spokesman knew that Steward, that alegadamente met with Cotto in Texas, will be united to the work group in Tampa to begin completely the training and to correct certain failures to him that detected in their defense and offensive in their brawls against Antonio Margarito and Pacquiao. When insisting to him on if at this point of his race changing of trainer he benefits to him he said that? I have been a worker and always I have worked of the hand del that has wanted to help me. And this will not be the exception. I will work with the same intensity that before? , it added. Cotto added that all their training will be in Tampa and will leave towards that city in April 3 and will not return to the Island until June 6. We go away the 3 of April and so soon we step on Tampa begins our strong training. Return until the 6 of June and I do not have understood that it enters the 5 and the 9 of April will be the press conference in New York? , it emphasized. It catalogued to Foreman, Holy winner of Daniel, like? good peleador? showing that? we will detect its faults and its errors and we will take advantage in the fight. And to fight in the Yankee system Stadium is an honor. It will be the first fight of professional boxing and we hoped to enter history? , it settled.

Not a perfect translation as the online spanish to english translator would give you that!

However, you can understand it. Apparently he is open to a rematch with Pac or the winner of ***weather-mosley, depending on how things turns out.

So explain to me how you came to this conclusion? What is it he does now that he didnt do pre-Margarito?

Cotto is gonna beat Foreman and then another good fight for him would be Cintron. He will KTFO Cintron! :deal

I don't see Cotto getting past Cintron at this point, especially at 154.

It would be nighty night to Miguel.

Wrong!, my post from another thread:

"Pryor 50-50, Duran 60-40 fav, Chavez 30-70 favouring PBF, Pea 40-60 favouring PBF, Kostya 40-60 favouring PBF.

Its very hard to beat someone like PBF, a guy

not only very talented but very smart in the ring and so adaptable. Reminds me of Ali, a guy who had all the talent in the world and somehow always just found a way to win by adapting to his opponent. In

, Castillo, ODLH, Hatton, I think all fights were close enough so that either one could have won but it was PBF who made the right adjustments once he figured them out and goes on to win the rest of the rounds clearly. "

I simply get sick of all these floydtoys acting like Floyd is gonna "Gatti" all these top/elite fighters in their imagination, when as a matter of fact, Floyd has been in competetive fights in all of his TOP fights minus Corrales.

RJJ, now theres a guy who DOMINATED top/elite fighters. Floyd DominatesB/C level fighters and is usually in quite a contest with the top/elite fighters.

Cintron's chin is suspect, Cotto hits harder, more accurate than Margo, he will crack his chin. It took Margo 10 rounds with his bricks to crack Cotto and its unlikely Cintron will catch Cotto with a punch he doesnt see coming as was in the Pac fight.

    Cotto KO Cintron.

WAR Cotto. Im getting sick of all these fickle boxing fans calling a fighter shot after 1 or 2 losses, specially in the case of Cotto where 1 loss was to p4p best and the other a brickfist. No wonder Floyd is so afraid to loose, he will be shot overnight and be asked to retire.

    Cintron by KTFO.

I'm a Cotto fan as well. Confidence is a terrible thing to lose in boxing.

Now you sound like Teddy Atlas with all these psycho analysis BS

So what makes you think Cotto has lost confidence?

He looked pretty confident to me in dismantling Jennings as he did against Gomez pre-Margo. He looked pretty confident against Pac before getting knocked down. Are you gonna tell me thats how you can tell he lost confidence because he started backing away from Pac after realising hes in a tough fight?

Watch the Cotto-Mosley fight, that was pre-Margo. Its not mental weakness, if Cotto thinks he cant bully the guy in front of him, he goes to plan B, which is to outbox. He has only ever faced 3 such opponents, Mosley, Pac and brickfist, and all 3 times he backed away.

Stop cheering for Cotto. Its making me uncomfortable, your gonna jinx him! :deal

PW beats Cintron but Cotto can fight Cintron anyways as a tuneup for PW. To make that fight fair though, they should do it back at 147, afterall, PW says he can make 147 easy :deal
