**** like that always happens. People go over the top when a big name fighter wins (even if it's against a limited/overmatched opponent).

 

I actually don't think he's gonna "destroy" Gomez.. I think Gomez is gonna give him some trouble. Gomez is used to fighting and being hit by 154lbers and 160lbers and he's a pretty good boxer even though he doesn't have alot of power. We'll see though.. I thought Quintana was gonna give Cotto a better fight and we all know how that turned out lol

It wouldn't be like he eas beating just some average WW though. If gomez did KCTFO, that would be a HUGE statement, considereing no one else has. And Cotto is the #1 ranked WW after Mayweather.

Floyd's busy for about a year, so Gomez wouldn't get a fight no matter what. But you can't say after KOing Cotto he'd be unworthy.

OK, i don't believe you guys that say that you picked Quintana to beat Williams by decision because before the fight, only a few were actually picking him to beat Williams.
