Cotto will destroy Gomez...

    I think this fight will tell us more about Gomez than Cotto. I believe Cotto will win. Gomez has looked consistently better in each of his past few fights. If he can go the distance or last until the later rounds, then it's still a winning situation for him, since not much is expected of him.

    He won't destroy him, but he will win. Gomez will put a hell of a fight and test cotto's suspect chin. But in the end everyone is going to be on cotto's nuts as always.

    Gomez is a tough sob so I would actually give him credit if he destroyed Gomez like the OP say.

    If Cotto doesnt stop Gomez inside 3 rounds(my prediction is hes gone in 2), then I will be dissapointed.

    Cotto is going to make an example out of Gomez simple as that ....

    I hope Gomez makes at least 300k for this fight

    Cotto KO1 Gomez shouldn't really change anyone's opinions on a Floyd-Cotto fight.

    Cotto is going to tee off on Gomez. I expect Cotto to land above 50% of his power punches early in the fight. As in right after the bell goes off. Gomez wont be able to take that type of beating.

    Well you know what? If Cotto is able to do that then I would be mighty impressed. I know he is good but when you talking about a guy that's never been down and is tough as hell I really don't think it will end that quick. I would probably say Cotto TKO 9 or 10. In still impresive fashion. I just don't think Gomez is some bum to be overlooked.

    You got that right. It happens after every fight.:-( But most fail to understand PBF and Gomez fight nothing alike not to mention PBF's boxing skills are light years ahead of Gomez.

    Maybe its the picture angle, but Gomez looks alot bigger.
