Cotto will fight anybody. From what I hear, Berto barely beat Collazo, may not be a bad idea to give him a tune-up fight.

Wow, I had no idea of the Judah/Quintana fight and Berto fighting the winner... Why not just give Collazo a rematch and then fight Cotto? Judah Quintana sounds like a good toss up fight for me :good

look man, i'm being realistic here, if you saw the Collazo fight, then you know he's got a long way to go if he wants to be great, but if he just wants to be another HBO titleholder then sure, he's already as good he needs to be, but i want more from the guy because i think he has the potential to really be something, but that aside you have to see whats in front of you and not ignore the facts, and the facts are he's raw and green....which isn't a good combination when you're in the same division as 2 of the best fighters in the world p4p

and dont think i'm some Berto hater, cuzz i'm the opposite, in fact i even started the "Berto Express" on here...but lets be realistic, Berto aint on the same level as Cotto, he would end up as another Quintana if they fought, but the difference is, he's still young and has more potential then Quintana in my eyes, which is why i dont wanna see one of my favorite fighters get ruined cuzz he got people in his ears tellin him that he actually has a good shot of beating a fighter like Cotto

when that **** just aint true,......also thats why i said he needs a new trainer, becuzz the one he has right now cant take him to the next level, he needs a Mayweather, Richardson, Roach, etc. etc.....so moral of the story, he's still young, he can correct his flaws, but he cant do it on his own

and me personally i wanna see a young black fighter recongized as one of the p4p best, thats why he needs to get his head on straight cuzz i dont wanna see him end up as another Zab "Shulda Wulda Culda Been Great" Judah, feel me?

After watching Berto/Collazo I am sure he wont last 6 rounds with Cotto. But moost likely he will lose his belt before we even have to worry about that

Berto doesn't get by Quintana....Quintana is a much better all around fighter than people give him credit for....if you recall the ass whipping
he gave Julio Joel....and took the title from Paul Williams.

Cotto beats Berto, no question, it's still a fight I'd like to see though. The biggest threat in the division to Cotto is Mosley....Let's get past Jennings first, nothing in this sport is guaranteed.

Berto takes Cotto the distance and possibly inks out a decision ... i'm not betting on Berto because I don't think that highly of his defensive skill set ... but against Cotto its pretty evenly matched. They both are fast, hard punching, fighters ... Berto has a good right hand and Cotto has no defense for it ... and I think that Berto is faster than Cotto ... they both have chin issues ... Berto has only been down once while Cotto has been down 4 times.

Berto should absolutely fight Cotto. Cotto would be favored, but Berto has more of a shot than he is given credit for. Some people act as if it's an insult for the man to want to fight the big name fighters in his division.

Lot of Cotto fanboys here. He's being declared the best in the WW divsion fresh off of a KO loss, a controversial decision where he caught a free rest-break after being hurt by Shane, and a KO victory where he had to lowblow Zab to get out of trouble.

And I'm sure after he beats Jennings, everyone will declare him "back on top" as if he just beat a monster.
