Cotto will fight Berto according to El Nuevo Dia

    I don't think that highly of Cotto but compared to Margarito, I think Cotto is a level above skill wise ... but Cotto is very vulnerable in the welterweight division ... his defense and chin is really suspect.

    I don't think highly of Berto but more experience in the ring with quality fighters will benefit him more ... i'm sure that he learned alot about himself during the Collazo fight. He better be in the gym working out right now, because no matter what I think of Cotto he's a serious threat.

    EL NEUVO DIA is the same puerto rican newspaper that reported Margarito tested positive for steroids after he defeated Cotto, i dont know how credible this story about Cotto fighting Berto is, but I will say Berto has a few fights to go before his management even thinks about Cotto. Cotto > Berto via tko/ko

    El Nuevo Dia never broke any story indicating Margie used steroids.

    I read the article then....there was talk on the radio of some suspecting
    Margie used steroids....that is what the paper mentioned in the article and made it a point to be clear that in no way are they implicating Margie.
    However, they did a breaking story on Margie when his tests did not detect steroids.

    Quintana has more power but also has a weaker chin and I'd be interested to see if his chin can hold up to the same kind of punches that Collazo was able to take from Berto.

    Quintana's chin held up to Joel Julio....Paul Williams in 1st fight....

    Are you saying that Berto punches harder than Julio and Williams.

    I'd favor Cotto over Berto by stoppage...Zab or Quintana will give problems to Berto..Zab can match his Berto's speed and Quintana is a very good boxer....Collazo will lose the rematch IMO....

    At least Berto's people aren't ducking anyone, if Berto's a true p4p he wins this fight.

    I think since he beat Mosley... The Jennings and Gomez fight were (the Jennings fight is a) tune up/s.
