Cotto will fold under pressure...

Am I the only one who noticed Cotto was really crisp and sharp until he got hit? It was like the pac fight but he was fighting Yuri Foreman. And I'm pretty sure Yuri had Cotto in a little bit of trouble when he started shooting nice shots in the 4th round. Cotto does this weird thing now (since Margarito) where he holds his glove by his head while he is in retreat and it seems like some kind of a tick to me. Like when Jermain Taylor starts touching his forehead. It's a sign of weakness and if Yuri Foreman can make him do it, he has no chance against a legitimate puncher or pressure fighter he cant stop from coming.

 

I'm not trying to be a dick. This is what I actually think is going on. I have a hard time believing that none of these things have crossed anyone elses mind. Did he ever to the defensive tick before margarito, cuz I don't remember it.

 

I think it's unfair to say his heart is gone. I just think he has been changed by his hard fights and that he reacts poorly to taking shots.

 

I'm not talking about the outcome of the Foreman fight. I am talking about a realistic assesment of where he is at as a fighter. This wouldn't be neccesary if he had lost to Foreman.

 

I get it guys! He beat Foreman. Can we get beyond this and evaluate what his chances are of beating other fighters based on his tendencies post-Margarito?

 

Are you kidding? If he went from the Gomez fight to the Foreman fight, we would be wondering what happened...
