Re-read my first reply to your first post...

All this coming from a Mundine fan who wouldn't mind seeing him in the ring with Calzaghe or Kessler again. :happy

I was playin, clearly. Although Floyd still beatsdown Cotto. Sad I personally don't think we'll see it, cause Mosely is coming out victorious.

Cotto is just better then gatti plain and simple. Cotto is a technically skilled fighter, it annoys me when people can't see this simply because he doesn't box and move in every fight. If they had seen more of his fights they would realise this. Fair enough if people think Mayweather beats Cotto (I am sure most do), but to say he bashes him is ridiculous.

I'll say this, mosely can't clear million five unless he's fighting a name. Maybe in his prime he could but not these days. These other guys he's talking about certainly can.

Personally, i think that mosely has been badly under manage through his career. I mean when you think about it why have guys like DHL, vargas, trinadad and Mayweather enjoyed far more hype throughout there careers then Mosely, when vargas sucks and he's obviously he's just a tallented and accomplished as the other three?

Mosely is a hard guy to market because he doesn't attract the same crowd as ODLH, isn't a cultural/racial dynamo like Cotto, and isn't undefeated.

Cotto has to be worth a little more, in that he is undefeated and is a draw to more than just his Puerto Rican fans. He seemingly has more to lose than Mosely. Even if Mosely loses, he could hang up the gloves and retire with absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.. If Cotto loses, he will be viewed as a guy who couldn't handle an aged fighter who was once dominant, that has style problems. Not that Shane has actual style problems, but the riddle to defeating Shane mosely has been answered by two stylistic matchups, just so happens those two stylistic matchups are two stylistic matchups that would be difficult for anybody.. A prime Forrest would destroy most fighters, a game Wright is extremely difficult to defeat. No shame in losing to either of those guys.

As for the fight vs Forrest. I think it was a deffinate show of Shane's heart and contrast of styles. The first fight especially was a great upset. Shane is a respectable guy who is in part a draw because he isn't afraid of tough matchups and will go out of his way to take them.

not really because the guys at that weight would also move up since alot of them weigh 15-20lb more after weigh ins.

I think what needs to be commended here is Mosley, for acepting a fight with Cotto with a lower purse. Guys like Jones, Hopkins, Wright would have bitched for months about 60-40, who deserves more than who, blah blah blah.

    Mosley is da man.

this would force de la hoya back up to middleweight, winky to light heavyweight, ouma to super middle and clottey to light heavy, who does he have left to fight?

yeah he was but did he fight the p4p number 1 at only 23, no he didn't so why should cotto?

you are stupid, you say cotto isn't on floyds level and yet you keep comparing him to floyd.

cotto was also a champion at 23 but why should cotto have to fight the p4p number 1 at such an early stage of his career?

and what would it have proved for floyd?

and did floyd fight a p4p number 1 in his 24th fight?
