Cotto can't make 147 and the fight should be at 154. Not to mention there's no demand for this fight anyway and a rematch shouldn't happen in the first place.

Since Cottoe said he can still make 147, it'll only work for Floyd. If he fights emmanuel, it'll have to be at 154

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl ******* alert.

Poochiao has a light middleweight belt, how come he doesnt wish to defend it at the light middleweight weight limit against light middleweight champion Cotto to unify?

Maybe poochiao should get bogus vacant belts to claim a bogus 8th division if he never plans on fighting there

It's not difficult to lose weight and not lose anything if you have a long enough training camp to do it. DLH didn't have much time to lose the weight properly.

He entered the ring at 150 in his last fight. Same as Mayweather did. Are both of these fighters "barely big enough for welterweight?" You clearly believe so. I do not. Pac's been there for years now. He IS a welterweight. If he were not, the third JMM fight would have been at 140. Or 135. So, at best, you could try to say that "Pac is only a 144 pounder" in which case you are saying that Pac is a welterweight.

DeLaHoya fought at 150lbs vs Forbes in May 2008 to prepare for the fight scheduled with Floyd at 147 in September. Floyd retired in June and Oscar looked to fight Cotto or Pac. He knew he was fighting at 147 and in August that he'd be fighting Pacquiao. He had plenty of time. Stuffing up his weight was his own doing, he said he was "thinking of going back down to 140" after Pacquiao. He was looking beyond Pacquiao to a fight with Hatton and paid the price.

I guess he is a ***** just like Pernell Whitaker, who also won a JMW belt, immediately gave it up and never wished to "unify" with Terry Norris.
Floyd Mayweather did the same..

Mayweather won his belt at 154 not at a bogus catchweight. Mayweather also took the belt from a legit belt holder and not a bogus vacant title fight. Poochiao is demanding someone from 154 to drop down to 147 after he already has a bogus 154 belt. Did Mayweather or Pernell ever do that? opps massive ******* fail.

Oh man shut up you biased stupid *******. Pacquiao was given a green light to choose which opponents he'll fight next between bradley, peterson, marquez 4 or cotto and pac choose to fight cotto again but wants cotto to kill himself to make weight like the last time. Ppl here talk about losing 1 pound is no big deal? Has any one of u dummies actually box before? I bet its a flat out no. Losing 1 pound is actually alot especially that is under 150 pounds. Cotto i bet walks around 160 or more pounds so losing all the way to 145 takes alot of wear and tear in the body. Too me if 145 pounds is no big deal couldnt pac fight cotto the first time at the ww limit like when pac fought oscar? ohh i know cause cotto wasnt shot in the dark like oscar was.

You said why doesn't Pacquiao go up and unify? You don't consider him a real champion at 154, but you do Pernell and Mayweather. Yet they never fought another JMW again, let alone try to unify. Surely you should be holding it against them, more than you should against Pacquiao?

Oscar made the weight, and felt good enough in that shutout to challenge Cotto at welterweight and look to fight Pac there. And you think it's not Arum pushing Cotto on Pac? Why would Pac want to fight him again after he beat easily already, and why at JMW? The fact Pac only wants it at 147 means he doesn't want it, because Cotto is not going down that low. And enough with the 1lb nonsense, Pacquiao had to put on 7lbs to make that weight, if Cotto had won, y'all would be saying he dragged a little guy guy up. It's just mindless hating on the tall poppy, record is getting old.

Also when Pac fought Oscar at 147, everyone said DLH was weak, so either you take the argument Pacquiao fought a true welterweight there and give him all the credit for going up from lightweight and beating De La Hoya, or you take the argument De La Hoya was a skeletal shell of himself and Cotto was the first true welter he was facing going up from 138lbs and the catchweight was as warranted and legitimate as it was for a fight like Chavez-Whitaker from the past. can't have it both ways.

Mayweather won his straps from a legit 154 titlist who had been unified Champ at Jr.MW and lost in a robbery against Mosley who was on roids.

Pernell Whitaker Also won his straps at 154 against a very legit Jr. MW champion.

How did Pacquiao win his fake as title at 154? Against who?
