He's only 34. No way he's gonna retire all of a sudden.

If he wins the Canelo fight, I'd not expect him to retire. He can win or lose against Canelo, very tough one to predict.

Nope. He can always step down, doesn't need to retire to avoid GGG.

Why would you want Golovkin to fight a smaller man on the verge of retirement anyway?

GGG wants all the belts. Cotto has one. Sounds quite logical to me.

If He beats Canelo He should retire on the top, no need to fight Golovkin He wants the the belt not Cotto. Cotto should retire if He wins unless get another crack at Floyd and get the payday.

I could definitely see him vacating or retiring after the Canelo fight.

They don't want any part of Golovkin, who will be taking over as lineal MW Champion, one way or another.

He won't. If he beats canelo in convincing fashion, he will go with ggg and retire after it, win or lose

Knowing Cotto's ability to fight everyone I think that's a safe bet.

If he retires after Canelo, it just shows what a b*tch he is.

No, not probably. Exactly. GGG will never be able to
fulfill his true potential or be recognized for what he
could've accomplished solely because of his ethnicity.
