I wouldnt be that happy.. Cotto looked like **** throughout the last 4-5 rounds.. The winner of pbf v hatton wont be too fazed on accepting him as their next big paycheck.
Yeah i had it 115 to 113 Cotto but wasn't impressed with him in the later stages of that fight. Mayweather wld beat him and Hatton wldn't be scared to face him either.
tbh PBF and Hatton are both a class above... Cotto has always been overrated, and we are all aware of that. But ozziebattlers is right - the winner of the PBF Hatton will have no dramas facing Cotto.
I had it a draw aswell. Cotto really impressed me in the first half especially with the way he kept landing those quick jabs, i thought he outboxed Mosley. Saying that though where was Mosleys defence? He fought stupidly and looked one dimensional throwing the pitter patter jabs then throwing the massive right, he looked like he expected to just go in there and knock him out. When he started to move and mix up his punches abit i don't think he was that effective but he still got the better of Cotto who was running away. I thought that was what Cotto was meant to be about, constantly coming forward and breaking the man down? He was doing that in the first half, he was making a believer out of me and then........... he does that ****! Not impressed with either guy, i think Mosley wins the rematch if it happens by boxing from the opening bell.
That was a weird second half, Cotto looked like he has just about had Mosely mentally ****ed, then for no reason comes out goes into cruise control and back pedals for no reason, Shane was also strange in the way he really didn't go for it in the last round trying for at least a knock down, even when the 10 second bell went in the 12th neither of them were interested in engaging, was a let down i thought round 12 was gonna be explosive but it sucked.
I had Cotto winning 7 rounds to 5. He showed a pretty good chin in this fight. I don't think Hatton would have an easy time with Cotto at all, different style of fight. The 147 lb group is at an all time high.
JB1 firstly I have always thought that Cotto was a good fighter, he was up against my man so what was i suppose to do - Hype Mosley thats what! Awesome fight. I had the fight a draw, not too worried about it actually cause Mosley fought well for a man 10 yrs older. Mosley wont want a rematch cause he was spent, Cottos youth and aggresion made him an old man overnight. Cotto wouldnt touch PBF.
