Cotto is a strange boxer. When I first saw him I dismissed him as a plodding guy with an ugly, crouching/hulking style, and a tendency to wait too long before punching. Then, out of nowhere, he'll suddenly start dancing on his toes, shooting the jab and bending away from shots with his upper body. It's like his style has split personality. I also never realised how good he was until he fought Mayweather. I finally see why people like him.
