**Cotto Won: I need a clear assesment of the fight.....**

The problem was in how he retreated. he didn't do an Ali stick and move type of thing but more of a de la hoya last 3 rounds type vs trinidad type of thing (run run run). That gave the appearance to many that he was hurt in the sudden change in his character and unwillingness to engage, especially in round 9. I personally thought he injured his hand, because he was back peddling but also not throwing at all.

 

i was there live with some miguel cotto fans behind me an they all thought miguel gave the fight away rds 8-12... all you guys talking like miguel cotto wasnt hurt an this an that but i have never seen him go back like that for 4rds, never! If he wasnt hurt he gave a good acting account for himself.. to be honest w/ you w/out the biass of the crowd i have the fight the exact same way as dorfmeister an armani.. if you are a miguel coto fan you gave the close rds to him an if you are a shane Mosley fan you gave the close rds to him.. but the 1 rd that bothers me the most is rd 11.. i thought mosley won that rd hands down! FOR 2:30 SECONDS mosley won the rd the other 30sec miguel tried to steal it? i dont get it?
