I see Cotto vs. Tripple GGG as Cotto vs. Margarito 1 but this time no bricks on Cotto's opponents.

One thing I notice about Tripple G is that the moment he face someone who pushes him back, it's over for him. He is those types of fighters, who is a monster coming forward, but push him back and make him take steps back and you will see a different fight.

Cotto can't do that to him I don't think but it would be a great fight.

Let's also remember, Tripple G's resume ain't that great at this point. I think Hopkins could pick GGG apart at 168... I need to see more of him to be honest.

    I see Cotto/Canelo and Cotto/Golovkin as Cotto/Margarito1.

This basically comes down to how COtto wants to hand-over the belt to GGG.

Does he face him and hand over the belt or does he face Canelo and have him
hand over the belt to GGG.

I'd say a fight with Alvarez at whatever weight they agree upon would be a 50/50 fight. I'd favor Gennady 70-30 against Miguel at MW, he's just too big and strong for Cotto.

if i was Cotto I would move down in weight let Golovkin alone and look for a title fight at 154 in December, (Carlos Molina my choice) and then in May if I manage to beat Molina ( not at easy as many people think) lure Canelo to fight for the 154 belt 154lbs Canelo is not easy but beatable) then look for Money may rematch and retire. Thats for me the perfect move and strategy for Cottos carrer moneywise achivable wise and lengthy wise. What you people think. Maybe just to add another fight put Bradley there at 154 because arum is pushing it.

I'd love to see Golovkin-Alvarez. Both can punch, have decent set of whiskers and aren't too hard to find. I think it could be made - for Golovkin, it's a chance to become a mainstream guy and for Alvarez, a chance to erase the memory of a pretty disappointing showing against Mayweather.

Cotto can't even beat Trout, and would get shut out by Lara. Cotto can't take Golovkin's punch and he would get punished by Alvarez.

Roachified Cotto could take Alvarez on points. Would get laid out by Golovkin in 6 rounds. Just too small.
