December 9 will be a good time to talk about Cotto's next fight. If somehow Hatton/Mayweather wouldn't happen on Dec. 8 and Floyd and Cotto's next opponents are each other, I'd be leaning toward Floyd to box and punch his way to a victory. He's stronger and tougher than his critics think.

Um Cotto is always throwing as he comes forward ..If Floyd even has the nerve to remain that close to Cotto he will be in for a big surprise !

Cotto would punish Floyd"s women like waist for 12 rounds...Floyds will run more than ever in this fight.

Thanks for showing those few rare clean punches Floyd landed on DLH. It was indeed a close fight. Floyd barely squeeked by DLH.

Here we go with the Cotto can beat the champ crap. Mosley is not on the level of Mayweather at this point. Mayweather would cause all problem for him. Cotto is not going to land easy like he did on Mosley. If u ask me, Cotto lost by a point. If a rematch happens, and it should, Mosley would win by UD.

DLH is much taller and faster than Cotto and despite his lack of Stamina Oscar caused much more trouble to Floyd than Miguel ever could, to beat Floyd you need to be agressive AND quick not one but both, you also need a jab that can land and Cotto doesn't have that.

Aggressive and quick? That pretty much sums up Cotto.

Also, Cotto has a great jab that can land on anyone he has fought so far.

Floyd fans are delusional, you are acting as if Floyd is invincible but he was already beaten by Castillo, knocked down by Judah (taken full 12, losing 4-5 rounds to him), hurt by Corley, involved in a close fight SD win with old, inactive DLH. If Shane Mosley had faced the opposition of Floyd he would have been undefeated as well. Shane is just as fast and much stronger, Cotto was able to beat him, IMO he can beat Mayweather as well. Cotto faced Judah and Mosley guys who are really at the same level in terms of speed as Floyd Mayweather so his speed will be nothing new for Miguel Cotto.

Just look at this, even after landing shots, he's still able to switch to defense quickly. Cotto would have a hard time landing clean on Mayweather. If Mosley would have stayed with the uppercuts, he would have hurt Cotto more. Mayweather will have a game plan for Cotto. Not to mention, he would attack Cotto's body.

The problem is that this was against a DLH who was inactive for a year and still managed to make it close fight ..How is Floyd going to keep a young Cotto off of him ??I can't wait to see him try to keep Hatton off !

Its a diffrent ball game when your in ther with a yooung hungry fighter than an old vet !!
