Don't know why people ask why we others have a problem with gays in boxing. Isn't this supposed to be a macho sport, does that not then destroy that part of this perception when there gays at this level? What if the majority of combatants were gays, would you still watch when the ignoramuses assumed you were gay for watching? I know many will say yes since that's not the case and don't have to deal with the reality of the situation. Even if you could not admit it for yourself, I'm sure you could admit many others would stop watching.

Reality is boxing would be a much tougher sell if this trend were to continue, and that's a problem for hardcore boxing fans since it would be a problem for the livelihood of the sport. I know people love the perfect world scenario where things like this don't matter but in the real world it does.

 

It's not a matter of "gays in boxing" or "macho sport". The point is that homoseuals and ***gots are not role model peoples.
There's no denying it, they're all insane, crazy, totally unstable. They are slimy and perverse, and absolutely and totally egocentric.

And if you take the time to learn how seriously homo***ual tendencies are generated, you'll learn they always derives from infant traumas.

So, it's not about hating gays or whatever. They are suffering peoples, and they should be helped if they want, or respected as mere human beings if they arent unrespectful.

But they aren't reliable iconic persons.

 

Boxing has always been a gay sport people. I mean stripping down to your undies and then staring into another man's eye, before entering the ring half naked clinching, hugging, breathing heavily for 12 rounds covered in sweat and no safe word.

Not to mention all the dirty talk beforehand, where fighters tell what they want to do to one another.

 

Big boxing day here in NYC!Just getting ready for a jog along the promanade here in Battery Park with 2 of my neighbours.After that a shower and meeting with buddies for lunch in Tribeca at Mudvilles,a great place with good food and over a 100 beers offered.I shall knock off just a couple.
Back home and a nap and relax and the wife will make an early dinner.
Off at 6pm to meet 6 friends who will catch the fight at the Gardens(Section 107-row 17) with me.Meeting at The Flying Puck(right beside MSG).The undercard is nothing to write home about so we won't hit the Gardens until about 9pm when the PPV broadcast begins.This is the 7th time I have seen Cotto live at MSG and each time it gets better and better.After fight drinks at Jimmy's Corner(a ritual) and Sunday will sleep in and nurse a mild hangover.War Cotto!

I heard that guys who like fighting are generally trying to release supressed homo***ual tendancies. The fighting makes you less gay because you get it all out of your system.

 

I completely agree, I was just trying to stray from that point and to get to the one where it shows that it does affect the imagery and so therefore the ability to sell boxing. The point to where it matters to all those who love boxing, and get away from one that people will want to attack so they can stay focused on the bigger picture.

I've been brainstorming and trying to figure why we can't tell the boxing participants they are not allowed to advertise themselves as gay as it could hurt sells. If we can that's what we need to do.

 

I can believe that for guys who like picking fights in the streets since they are not getting paid there is absolutely no other reason to fight.

 

How ironic that would be, a gay guy being pissed at another man (Cotto) for being a diva.
