Naw, Canelo and Oscar drew a line in the sand and it was breached by Floyd. Floyd did what he had to do and Canelo did what he didn't wanna do. Cotto can fight Canelo later this year and still get paid. Like I said, it wasn't only about money. Canelo and Oscar been trying to take Floyds thunder ever since the Canelo hype train started rolling. I don't believe Cotto wanted that date anyway because I think he is ready to retire and want his last fight to be in his stomping grounds with his fans in the majority. I'm sure that Canelo and Oscar did thier homework on Kirkland and don't anticipate a loss so the Cotto fight will still be there.
