If Cotto can rebound from the beating Margarito originally dished out to him, then Margarito SHOULD be able to rebound from the generous helping of whoop ass that Pacquiao dished out to him (and don't forget about the equally portioned helping Cotto received from Pac as well). Then, Margarito's going to dish Cotto a helping of seconds.

Seems to me that Margarito is the one paying Cotto's advisor's salary. Bad advice, in my opinion.

This Fight with Mayorga is a ****ING JOKE!!! Yeah, I get it....He's Funny, He's a Clown, He's a Trash Talker, He maybe even good for some Pre-Fight Press Conference Antics and Quotes. But Mayorga is more shot than Biggie and 2Pac. He looked ABSOLUTELY AWFUL in his last fight versus a SHOT Journeyman Mike Walker. When I say AWFUL I mean in all areas...Skill, Stamina and looked grossly out of shape. Fine...if this is what Arum wants to do...Cool. But if he makes this a PPV Fight...He needs an AMERICAN ME style Ass-Whoopin!!!!

While Mayorga is Dangers, Cotto should take him out with Body Shots. Margarito WILL defeat Cotto Again if they fight, Unless Cotto Learns how to CLINCH!

I'm not sure that the beating Cotto took from Marg or Pac was quite as bad as the one Marg took from Pac. That was just horrible to watch.

Margarito is made from different stuff, dont worry about Pacquiao somehow completely pushing Margarito over the hill.

I look at the mentality, the fighting spirit, and I see Cotto more damaged than Margarito. Marg still has the fighting spirit, he still tried to walk through Pac while his face was broken, he never gave up. In the Pac fight, Cotto got on his bike after 5 rounds, gave up and looked to survive. I see his flame has diminished more than Margarito. In the Foreman fight I saw little signs that when Cotto got hit he didn't have that same primal instinct in his eyes when he was undefeated.

Because cotto ran like a little BIAAATCH after the 4th round. The manster walked pac down while eating vicious combos! He never retreated, never surrendered!! Put mayfeather in a cell with margs, I know the manster would walk out of that mother ****er alive!

Point still stands. Margarito took such a hideous degree of punishment in the fight against Pacquiao that it might be worth questioning whether or not he should fight again.

To me that beating was as damaging as Hatton's knockout loss to Pac.

At what weight is he fighting mayorga? I doubt mayorga can still make 154 today. It should be an awesome fight still. Can't wait for cotto-margarito 2. Margarito should have a fight in between also.

Yeah, that could have gone a couple less rounds. Those last couple of rounds or so could end up making a crucial difference in a Cotto-Margarito rematch, in Cotto's favor. Pacquaio's beating of Cotto didn't quite equal Pacquaio's beating of Margarito, and at least Cotto had enough sense to get out of his first fight with Margarito early enough to still have brain cells in tact. I can't say the same for his face, but I certainly can't say the same for Margarito's either, in his last outing. Mosley didn't do him any favors either.
