Cotto's best hope against Margarito was to hope for an accidental headbut that would force them to the scorecards at the 6th round. Cotto did everything he could and he did it repeatedly, yet there was no stopping Margarito...he was a Beast that night....no matter who was in there with him. A horseshoe in his glove for good luck may have helped... I am a big Cotto fan and am confident he will return as well as he is still confident in himself.
Cotto can comeback. The dedication he's shown to get where he is at this point in his career shows he's mentally strong. He's got a good focus level i'll admit this even though i'm not a Cotto fan. I'll probably even like him a little more now since he lost as weird as that may sound. However I don't think he beats Margo in a rematch.
Margarito can take cottos punch. Cotto hit him crisp and clean on the chin and temple for nearly every round. I though that cotto would work the body myself. Im just not sure if cotto can win the rematch. Margarito is a monster of a welterweight and i think he may have cottos number.
