Cotto's fans are afraid he might loose soon!!!

    that is what's bugging these guys. Cotto's fan's are mayweather haters in disguise. 2 years ago you didn't see anything about a cotto vs floyd fight, and many of us can remember the margarito hype that got easily flushed down the toilet, the paul williams hype " that got put to bed, the ricky "I am the ultimate pressure fighter" hype, and the oscar "left hook" of doom that was going to put floyd in his place hype.:deal :lol:

    See when you analysis what the floyd haters/sans cotto fans (for now until he loses) are saying you notice they are not cursing cotto for taking a tuneup fight, nor are they concerned about bob arums shenanigans with floyd (still owing floyd money dfrom a 2005 PPV):deal

    they are concerend about the fight getting made right now, this instance there is not a second to lose.:rofl :lol: :admin and the reason for this is two fold:

    1. cotto is not good enough to beat a fighter who is taller and just as big as him. see cotto was a huge 140lber I mean this guy would come into a 140lb fight as a supermiddle and sometimes a middleweight:deal in facing the cintron/margarito winner cotto would finally be in the ring with someone who would weigh the same as him 160+:deal

    the floyd haters dread this thought hence the sense of urgency on their part:admin :admin :admin :admin


    2. the haters were also banking on the fact that cotto would outweigh floyd by 10-15lbs on fight night. this is where you get the disparaging remarks about floyd taking care of his family by fighting oscar and hatton again. they feel that cotto is running out of time and that he was never really in floyd's shoes to begin with he was just someone they picked to carry on their crusade of hatred.

    cotto would love to fight floyd and any fighter smaller than him. let's see what cotto does when he is in the ring with someone his own size.:deal we know what floyd can do with bigger men, what can cotto do is the question:deal


    cotto's so-called fans are even worried that a fighter as limitied as gomez could give cotto trouble because his is "bigger than him" which is a load of crock. cotto will be 155-160 on fight night just like gomez.

    se we floyd fans have never worried about floyd defeating competition like gomez just goes to show who the boss is:admin :yep :rofl :deal

    First of all, yes some Cotto fans are Mayweather haters and yes some of them use Cotto to hate on Mayweather. Its not my case, i like Cotto because of his style and personnality and "hate" Mayweather because of what he is outside the ring but I respect his skills and talent.

    Gomez already fought at Middleweight and has a bigger frame then Cotto. For that reason, even if they both weight the same on fight night, Gomez will still be bigger. Cotto can box but when he brawls, he relies on his size and strenght to beat his opponents and he won't be able to do that against Gomez, thats why people are worried. Floyd is more succesful against bigger men because he relies on his speed and techinique to win his fight and those bigger men can't touch him in those categories.

    Then, if you saw the Cotto-Mosley fight, you noticed that Mosley was the bigger man and that Cotto did very well anyways. Yes Mosley started at 135 but he carried his weight well at this point of his career.

    Finally, Magarito could mean trouble for Cotto the brawler but if he boxes, he will beat the limited Margarito with jabs and counterpunches. Cotto brawled in most of his last fights but we saw against Mosley that he is a very good boxer...

    Your hate for Cotto is blinding you i suppose....

    anyways your giving floyd way too much credit by saying cotto fans are just mayweather haters in disguise, because most of us have been cotto fans since the beginning.:hi:

    JEJEJEJEJEJEJEJE!!! This is hilarious! What are you talking about Cotto fighting smaller guys???? Floyd just fought a guy who is a 140 pounder and his only fight at 147 got his arse kick by Collazo, who is not considered an elite 147lbs fighter. Cotto will lose someday. So what?? There is not shame on losing a fight. Better than retiring undefeated by handpicking the opponents. Is not matter of who will win a Cotto-Floyd's fight. Is matter of making fight that makes sense and stopping the BS.

    Your post makes more sense than the one that started this thread..

    Yes, I like Cotto, though I'm not a huge fan.. Yes I hate Mayweather and I have my reasons.. But I'm not using Cotto as an excuse to hate on Mayweather anyway I can.. I just want to see his best p4p contender knock him on his ass

    Bigtime. you are the biggest floyd nuthugger on eastside, so i dont expect anything less from you. someone already said it, but mosley and gomez are bigger. kelson pinto was taller.

    floyd fought little ass hatton. so what is your point. weight classes for a reason. if you can make the weight, you have every right to fight there.

    cotto coming in at super middle weight on fight night isnt even an advantage to ****ing idiot. that just shows how weight drained he was during his fights.

    next time think before you say some dumb ****.
