If Cotto were to do that, then it could probably fix his legacy and put him back into big fights

I like Cotto because he doesn't ***** or complain and takes on all fighters.

That being said, he is shop-worn and will get destroyed by serious competition at 154.

 

Bigger than avenging a now contentious loss to Margo and beating the so called fighter of the decade and P4P number 1?

 

if he were to beat both i would accuse him of being on peds and loading his gloves.

 

if he fought margo and pac again, he'd end up in the hall at his local hospital not the hall of fame..

 

he'd be a HOF for sure. He's already borderline now. His record at light welter and welter is very impressive. So if he beat PAC and Marg now it would guarantee HOF. but thats it.he's never gonna be regarded as a best ever. Way too flawed.

I may be being a little biased as he's probably in my top too favourite fighters of the last 5 years. (along with Marquez) not for been the best, just for the heart they've shown.

And seen as though Marg is only hated for wearing hand wraps. if its proven that he really didn't no, then i guess people will stop hating.

To go down as a fighter that beat everyone that beat him, especially considering the beatdowns he took in the losses would certainly catapult him to ATG status, top 100-80. Alot of ATG are flawed BTW!!!

I didn't even think much about this potential rematch with Pacquiao...I've said before, Pacquiao will always have Cotto's number because of his speed and angles.

But imagine if Cotto were to win a rematch, that would be a great, great win.

 

Cottoe could beat the ghosts of Tyson, Leonard and Hagler and it still wouldn't change the fact that he's the sport's no. 1 overrated hypejob. Not to mention the manner that he and his daddy Arum have been ducking Money is an utter disgrace to the sport.
