They can make this fight for June...it's perfect.

    Canelo can get next.

June at MSG would be a dream fight for me.

    Lee-Quillen winner gets next,

Canelo doesn't need GGG until next year at the earliest.

I'm a Cotto fan, as much as I'd like to see it, this is the last fight Cotto needs to make. He is just not big enough to take on GGG. He should make his one defense and retire.

Yeah I feel the same way

He should get that Canelo fight back then call it a career

but if he took the Golovkin fight that'd be cool with me too

Cotto had no business going up to 160 in the first place. He is not a legitimate middleweight, never was, never will be. Took advantage of a physically worn champ and now can't stick around to fight none of the contenders that Martinez probably would have fought.

You being a Cotto Crabwalk Enthusiast I'm sure you'll get money's worth if it happens, Cotto'll look like he's on Dancing With The Stars.

Cotto would be better off retiring, he has probably made plenty of money. GGG is bad for your health, he could give brain damage to 168lb guys never mind former 140lb guys.

Cottos only using the belt as a bargaining chip to bring up a fighter that's it. He won't fight GGG and I don't want to say that's GGGs best win is a WW.

cotto wouldn't be his best win. it'd just be the one that brought him closer to undisputed, and made him lineal.

In fairness, I think he knew, or at least suspected, that Floyd and Pac would be fighting May 2, and wanted to see how that would play out before committing to a fight with Canelo.

Remember, it was Canelo who was calling for that date...not Cotto.

I'd still like to see GGG fight Cotto, though.
