Roach said on 24/7 last week that he was watching Cotto's fights for the habits, which they could exploit. He seemed to give the impression that he had spotted something they could use but he didn't say it obviously.

What do you think he's spotted? Or what do you think Cotto's bad habits are?

Yeah! Margarito hit him with the uppercut like they were jabs.

Cotto has a habit of adapting and beating down his opponents, so their plan is to play tag all night.:good

He tends to "reset" after every set of punches he throws.

Judah couldn't miss with that left uppercut either.

I've always noticed it throughout all of his fights. If Pacquiao can use his speed to jump on Cotto when he "resets", then he can really throw Cotto off of his rythem.

good point. their plan could be to attack while he resets. but i hope they have more than that because cotto will adjust to that.

He does reset as do alot of fighters Manny included, I think what they are planning on taking advantage of is when he does reset he tends to move to his left with that left hand down low, so I expect to see Pacquiao exploit that with Right hooks.....

    Good points.

Also can't fight going backwards and he eats the overhand right a lot.

    His defense generally is leaky.

This is gonna be big for trouble Cotto. He always leaves a nice window for someone to beat him to the punch. He always likes to plant his feet and try and get some power. He just leaves alot of time and space for a man who likes to jump in and lead then get back out. Cotto is gonna be hard pressed to get a chance to set himself in a comfortable position that he needs to throw. Manny beats him to the punch most of the night.

Roach claim's Cotto telegraphs his left hook before he throws it like Ricky Hatton.
