cottos in a sweet position

Thank you so much. It's amazing that my fan ties to Vargas make me an idiot, or low insight type poster here. **** that. I am way more partial than most here.

 

Varags was a beast, who in their right mind didn't love watching him fight. His style was great

 

People dont have to like Cotto as a fighter. But you have to respect what he has done in the sport. He is a guy who hasnt ducked a fighter. He goes in and does his best. Sometimes he loses but most of the times he wins. He has given his all to this sport and never bitches about anything. So let the guy make his money. He has earned it.

 

Vargas time was short. But in that time he was really good. Very gutsy fighter who didnt back down. I dont understand how people hate this guy.

Cotto has received the same Top Rank matchmaking as Floyd and Manny...which is why he's never called out for ducking.

 

Apparently he was over rated trash to many here. That and because I like him makes me less of a knowledgeable fan.

 

I agree that people have the right to not like a fighter, but damn, Cotto is not only fan friendly in the ring but he's great OUTSIDE of the ring too.

Other than getting busted for PED's I dunno how anyone can not like Vargas as a fighter. That's the only reason one could possibly have! If it's anything else they didn't actually watch him in his prime

Dude was a beast, exciting as it gets, he was a killer with underated skill who fought everyone!! Vargas was the man and he had charisma
