To be fair.. Clottey actually was seen as talented before the PAcman fight.. so since RJJ was knocked out by Tarver does that mean he is GARBAGE??? OR Pavlik or Jermain Taylor..... Cotto won a very close fight that could have gone either way.. to say Clottey was proven garbage is kinda ******ed seeing that he beat pretty good competition and was seen as a consensus top five WW before the Cotto fight.. it's not like he was a prospect like Canelo is today.. SMH

THe Manny fight--- weight drained.. but I will still agree with you.. he lost to the number 1 p4p fighter at the time. by brutal beatdown

The Foreman fight.. he was winning from the 3rd round on.. way before the leg injury.. PERIOD...

the only things I would agree with are the MArgarito and Mayorga fight (the Mayorga fight was completely BS.. such a stupid fight to take).... but even the MArg fight was only vindication for the **** lost he sufffered the first time.. we all know that lost has an asterik around it.. so I don't blame him for taking that fight.... so yes he was the number 1 JMW.. I mean have the other JMW done anything to earn that status??

More drivel from you I see. Foreman was a top 5 guy when he upset Santos, by the way.

The ring didn't even pull pac down after grandpa marquez beat him and boxing fans voted it robbery of the year. Is that the ring you talking about?

And yes Cotto was not one of his best win, floyd has fought better fighters.

  5. I don't need to hear from Cotto, I seen the fight, and if Cotto said that, he an excuse making liar.:thumbsup

Why don't you google it? He said it in a interview. I believe was a faceoff interview with floyd or margo.

Plus he was visabily tire in the fight and if you had any common sense would know that boiling down to the catch weight limit will affect stamina.

Lack of conditioning is a **** poor excuse but Cotto simply does not like to run and it shows on his fights.

This is your counter? Pretty damn weak. Ignore the stuff about Cotto's weight, only reply about Foreman. And Santos was a good fighter, but more an enigma based on his inconsistency and inactivity. Doubtful you even know too much about him. He's no Beiber afterall....

How is beating a one legged rabbi a "b -rated" win?

Maybe he was visibly tired from covering so much distance from running from the midget for 6 straight rounds? That'll take a lot from you, it's not a simple stroll

Cotto has said that he hurt his body agreeing to Pac's demands the first time which is why he declined a rematch a years ago.

You said Cotto hasn't faced or beat any top rated JMWs, I was just correcting you.

The anonymous poll couldn't have been on the up and up, since PWill Lara was same year. Notice that neither of the 2 Ring mag editors had JMM winning this close fight:
