Cottos last 5 wins before fighting FLoyd

  1. Faded against Mosley?

Cotto had the rounds in the bag and didn't want to get caught by anything so went defensive.

How you all made it past that insane comment that started the thread about Cotto being Floyd's best win is beyond me. Clear agenda or the poster doesn't know **** about Floyd pre 147. That being said, Cotto being best or #1 at 154 isn't true. We all know that.

Clottey fight results are split, not most saying one won.
Cotto said he wouldn't drain himself AGAIN against Pac, ignore that statement all you like. Dawson hasn't said he was drained or had to train to make weight but we all know it's true.
Foreman win wasn't huge, thats clear.
Mayorga win wasn't huge, that's also clear.
Margo win was just to end that chapter of his life, not a huge win as far as rankings.

:patsch Who has he fight to gain that title??? He's a talented fighters but his resume lacks for him to be the top guy of division...You cant award him the best fighter at 154 because of his potential...He has to start actually fighting top conteders to make this claim valid.

First off while the score cards were closer than the fight really was. It was not mayweather's best win. Probbly not even his best win as a light middleweight. De La Hoya was a better light middleweight at the times of the 2 fights. That fight was also not as close as the scorecards showed.

other way round, score canrds were very wide for mayweather. the fight was coser than that.

I though the fight was a close but clear decisiond for Mayweather in a tough fight.

The de lahoya fight was a close but clear win, n quite an easy fight for floyd.

Not really, it was the fight people wanted to see the longest. Corrales was the best. Hell probably one of the few fights that Mayweather was not the favorite, I think he was near evens with Gernaro.
