Cotto is obligated to fight his mandatory fight early next year( Klose vs Nushenko) do you think that Cotto needs to keep the belt and fight this mandatory or skip the belt and wait until july for a big showdown. We all know that Cotto will fight early next year and will be against a good fighter but not a grat one, ala Clotey, Collazo, ect. I think that Cotto deserves a tune up, i don't think of this one, but he has been in two hard fights so he needs a rst or a tune up what do you think. Do you will be ok by seeing this fight or not skip this fight a fight another tough fight, or rest until july. a good tune up is ok, i don't like inactivity. At least if the ukranian win, i think he will do because the french is old and shot as hell. Cotto will be fighting another undefeated fighter maybe another good oponent like Torres and Maussa but unknown to the boxing fans. anybody know someting about this guy.
Nah...he should keep and defend his title. He doesnt need PBF, he's becoming a megastar already. If he waits for Pbf, oh Floyddy will ask for a ludacris amount of cash considering he just offed Hatton.
I think Yuriy Nuzhnenko will beat Klose, so if this fight could be made in March 2008, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Nothing wrong with staying active and taking a low-risk fight. Cotto deserves a fight like this now. Fighting superfights every fight will wear you out. And this way, he can still fight 3 times in 2008 - March, June/July, and later in the forth period.
Cotto would most likely take the mandatory like he did against Urkal earlier this year. I can see him getting it on around February/March in Puerto Rico.
Clazaghe fought a lot and a i say it, a lot of mandatories, now he is old and need only the bigs fights.
Do you know someting about this Yuriy guy, the only think i know is he is undefeated his record on boxrec and his fight scheduled with Klose. But never see aniting about his fights and his stile of fighting.
Fight his mandatory and earn additional bucks while keeping himself busy and in shape while waiting for the next big fight. No brainer dude.
Well others will not say the same thing, will be saying that Cotto's is avoiding the good names, Cotto's do not need to fights this bum, someting like that, and we don't know if this Yuiry is a bum or not.
I know absolutely nothing about the guy, but I am predicting a win for him because Klose has been around a long time whereas Yuriy seems fresher and is also younger.
More and more fighters need to tell all of them ABC titles to kiss thier ass. WBC, IBF, WBA, NABF etc etc.. The best fighters just need to fight the best fighters. Having a title means jack **** now days. 20 years ago is meant something, not now.
I'm also predicting the same thing, the fresher hungrier fighter, but i haven't heard anyting about him.
