Including the upcoming fight with Margarito, which do you consider the most dangerous assignment so far in the career of Miguel Cotto?

The fights with Torres and Corley where he was put on ***** street. I'd say those were pretty dangerous.

True, they were, but only after they were over could be we see that I guess. On paper what has been the most dangerous fight for Cotto before it happened, including the fight later this month?

It's interesting because Cotto said that he felt that the Judah fight was more dangerous for him than the Mosley fight. I agree with psychopath though - judging by the results I would say we were right.

    Margarito.....
Margarito poses these attributes over any of the fighters he has faced:
    Strongest Will and mentality
    Effective Pressure
    Most Physical
    Physically the biggest perhaps?
    Best Chin
Busiest fighter (throws 1000+ punches per fight easily)

Well in that case. In terms of being knocked the **** out, Margarito, in terms of losing, Mosley. I think Cotto will have an easier time winning against Margo then Mosley, but Margo is more dangerous in terms of one punch changing the fight.

Judah, Mossley and Margo (thats in chronological order, not order of difficulty)

Judah for his speed and style. As good as Cotto is some people, me included, saw him as a bit of a plodder, slow of hand and foot and a little bit chinny. I thought Judah may have been able to out box him quite comfortably in spurts and maybe even deck him. I was happilly proved wrong and impressed with Cotto's resilliance.

Mossley for pretty much the same as Judah but i thought Mossley would fare better due to him being mentally tougher and more experienced than Judah. I actually picked Mossley to win this fight. I was proved wrong again and was extrememly impressed with Cotto's hand speed in this fight and the fact that he elected to box in parts and held his own agaisnt Mossley.

I think the Margo fight may be his hardest though just for the fact that Margo is one tough ****er. But i have learned my lesson and will not be betting against Cotto again.

I would have to say Margarito hands down. Mosley was already 35 or so, Judah lacks heart and will. Margarito has strong will, heart, beard, and is still very hungry. What is more dangerous in an animal than a starving lion?! Only another starving lion!

Interesting how you ignorantly defend a discussion that means nothing...blame the thread starter....well ok......."Cottos most difficult fight to date." and "including Margo" doesnt make much sense does it? So how can you idiots vote or debate on something that hasnt happened yet? So this entire thread is based on theory and conjecture.........to be kind its mildly mysterious:yep or just plain dumb.....
Take Margarito out of the poll and you have a viable debate topic, of course I didnt have to tell you that DUMBASS:lol:

Say for arguments sake Cotto thoroughly beats down and KOs Margo by the 7th?

I know you still cant see my point can you?

Is this that hard for you, dude? Read what it says - "assignment."

The question pertains to a point of view, a mindset, BEFORE the fights happened.

Which fight in the career of Miguel Cotto was the most dangerous going into it?
