Who should it be? He obviously needs one and I think it should be one of the best... What are your thoughts?

There is nothing to tell us he won't keep Santiago.

this is true, i would just rather he didn't. he needs someone to take him to the next level/fix those few little flaws in his game and take away some of his vulnerability.

He won so a change is not likely.

His vulnerability has been shon for years, don't think anyone can fix it.

he needs a top class trainer, no doubt! If he doesn't he won't fulfill he potential

He eats uppercuts for fun it seems......

it can sure help. im sure there's a trainer out there who can teach him how to avoid the uppercut. you would think he could just do it himself but it just never seems to happen. it's probably his biggest issue...

I say Dan Birmingham to teach him a 'Winky-like' defensive wall.

but no one has attempted to fix it

anyways i think the best choices are nacho or freddie but these are very highly unlikely so i say either of these 3; birmingham, mustafa muhammad or shields.

its not so much about his vaulnerbility sometime his game plan pisses me of also e.g margo fight he jus had 2 clinch his corner didnt even give him those instructions and with clottey why did he let him of hook?

i think cotto also has stamina issues

Cotto said today on EL Nuevo Dia that he is open to adding to his team to improve and that mistakes were made which will be corrected.

    Buddy McGirt.

He prolly would have threw in the towel in the 9th round of the Clottey fight.
