Just rewatching this fight. I haven't see too many high level fights where a fighter starts bleeding this early.

    And a broken wrap...
I had a dream that Marqarito will KO Cotto which means Cotto will UD him.
If Margarito beats Cotto down the same way he did last time then im a bit more convinced he didn't cheat.

At least for the Cotto fight. For sure he cheated for Mosley, that is undisputable.

Whatever about Margarito's punching power, it's disheartening to see Miguel's best punches just bouncing off that mother****er.

this fight will prove nothing, the first fight destroyed Cottos confidence and there is no fixing that he hasn't been the same fighter ever since.
think about it, Margo was a underdog going into the Cotto fight and he " didn't cheat" now going into the SSM he was a huge favorite, and the was the first and only time that the wraps were altered with... i don't think so...
    That is all

Make no mistake, Miguel Cotto is an extremely tough man. Before the Margarito fight he had never been cut and so damaged in a fight. It jus rings for me that his hands had to be loaded. Margarito will pay his penance very soon. A bully geting his ass kicked by the one whom he bullied most. Seems to me that Cotto will have the last laugh..

Cotto will NOT destroy Margarito the way Pac did.

Pac didnt destroy Margacheato the way Mosley did.....and just for the record Margarito was also never the same after he fought Cotto, that fight took alot out of both fighters.:deal

I have always thought that the broken nose played a large part in COtto's loss. He probably could not breathe through his nose, and if blood is dripping down his throat, even mouth breathing may have gotten problematic.
    Cotto may have felt panicy.
Of course, if the hand wraps is the reason for the broken nose, that sucks. And MArgarito should have gotten a life ban.

But give the latter credit for eating many big punches from Cotto in that fight. However I have also written that no rebuilt face is likely to be as good as the original, and I think it won't hold up to the same punches again.
However Cotto may not engage as much this time. As noted above by others, I think mentally he is not the same and never will be.

Cotto may actually fight in a retreating or at least circling manner from the getgo, and not throw so much. Could be the wrong tactic.

in all honesty he ate too many uppercuts early and all night, and thats Margarito's best punch
