That was the same Cotto that fought Mayweather. Trout is just a talented fighter! Austin put on a good show and he deserves the Canelo fight..

Cotto should move down to 147!

Cotto, physically faded, his face reddens, swells and cuts with-in two rounds and fighting above his ideal weight class, yes. But, he's not shot. Saying otherwise is discrediting Trout's win and skills from last night. Trout sustained less damage than Mayweather did against Cotto. Cotto at welter-weight still makes a good fight against any top welter-weight.

Nobody bounces back after losing to Mayweather. Look at the history. He ruins people.

Cotto is a very good fighter.. But not great at all. Very very good. A challenge and test for any top guy who wants to show he is elite. Let's see how good Trout is now that he beat Cotto.

It was mostly a matter of physically disadvantages. Trout looked like a giant next to him in the ring. I think Canelo-Trout is interesting stylistically. It doesn't stylistically favor Canelo but I do think he's just a better fighter than Trout and would ultimately win a decision against him. Cotto is a small JR MW. Really too small, and Trout is a huge JR MW.

Trout is good but not that good, really. He'd get worked by Martinez and probably beaten by Chavez.
