I love Cotto's jab. Now that i seen how he used it against the best in the game i am completely sold on it. I can't wait to see him in action again.

My thoughts are that you are extremely biased, Augustas, Judah, Corley, JLC and even old Man Mosley (Very briefly) gave Floyd more trouble.

Floyd landed the harder, cleaner shots through out the fight, Cotto had a nice jab going BUT he never landed anything big upstairs, while Mayweather landed right hands and uppercuts.

Therefore Cotto losing 9-10 rounds, nearly getting stopped and peeing blood after the fight is NOT consistant with him performing better than Mayweather or doing more damage. What Cotto proved is that he is clearly a level above guys like Andre Berto, Amir Khan, and Victor Ortiz. No more, no less.

At 154 with 10 ounce gloves I think he can give Pac a good challenge, he won't win BUT with the weight, the gloves and Diaz he can be competitive, he has a very good jab.

If any of you think this is the most Mayweather has gotten hit in a bout, then you haven't watched his career, period.

Cotto did much better than I expected, but I don't see how he was so amazing as a lot of people are suggesting...

    augustus was stopped.

judah got the **** beat out of him and had to resort to throwing a low blow/rabbit punch combo to keep from getting stopped.

    corley barely won a round.

mosley barely won one round but was getting backed up after he landed his best shot.

aside from cotto...castillo did the best but even castillo didn't bust floyd up the way cotto did. cotto was never in a position to be stopped. stop it. seriously.

floyd has given cotto his props and said that was his toughest fight. why can't u do the same?

He made his fans extremely proud. He brought the fight to Mayweather, fought at an extremely high level, and never stopped trying to win.

i've been watching floyd since the amateurs. who busted floyd up more than cotto?

even floyd said this was his toughest fight.

manny steward said he had not seen work this hard for a win since he fought augie sanchez in the amateurs.

i love floyd...he's a great fighter. u guys take love to the next level though.

Cotto was heavier than any of them and they were using larger gloves than in all those other bouts. And if you remember the Augustus fight, it was his corner who stopped it. Burton was still fighting and wasn't on stanky legs like Cotto(e) at the end. Just giving you some perspective.

Wtf? Mayweather had more swelling from the DeLaHoya fight than this one. You're sounding like a fool right now. You let a bloody nose sway you,.

now it sounds like ur making excuses for floyd. don't do that.

10oz gloves are the norm at 154.

augustus was stopped. cotto fought all the way until the end. funny thing...cotto came right at floyd after the stanky leg and floyd backed off. guess he wasn't as hurt as u thought.

    hope that gives u perspective.

Did Burton get knocked out or go down? Yes or no?

You're just bitter cause you thought Cotto would win, he didn't, now you're just trying to take your small victories where you can.

swelling on his eye. maybe. floyds eye was swollen in this fight and his nose looked busted up too.

dlh didn't really do **** in their fight. that split decision score was more about politics than anything. floyd was hitting oscar much cleaner than he was able to hit cotto. if anything, i thought floyd held back in hopes of getting the rematch with oscar. his talk immediately after the fight said it all.

when was the last time u saw floyd bleed?

no fool. i understand this sport better than most.
