you need to watch the fight again, Floyd landed a lot of clear body shots.

When people say it was a close fight and a guy fought his heart out against a skillful defensive fighter and that the fight was close, I have to call out the old timers and ask them if this was closer than Mancini fighting against the previously and defensively masterful southpaw, slick Hector Camacho for the vacant WBO LWW title and the fight was to be made for as much as 7 years, Camacho was coming from a whole lot of personal problems like Floyd and nobody can say that Ray Mancini was not less tougher than Cotto. He consistently hit the backpedalling and masterful Camacho back then n the Lawlor Events Center, Reno, Nevada, and the scorecards were 8 rounds to 4 to Macini overturned by 7 rounds to 5 by the other two judges. That was a close fight! The Cotto Mayweather affair was like Camacho against Pazienza, c'mon?!?!

Why do some of these Floyd fans get so mad because people are saying Cotto fought a good fight? I don't get it.

It was a great fight. What I laugh at are the people who say Floyd fought like that to please the crowd....

Sure the same Floyd who legally sucker punched Ortiz..

The same Floyd who got rocked by Mosley in round 2 then dominated the fight afterwards not to get hit.

Cotto brought the fight to him although not enough for the win. Great fight by both men.

OK, Cotto should be ranked up there with the greats like Castillo. You happy?
