Cotto's Personality Needs To Tempt Floyd

I really hope that fight happens.

 

Cotto barely speaks English. There's also the problem of his personality, he doesn't have one. Going around acting like a ****ing cyborg is not going help Cotto's cause. Cotto's real problem is that there aren't enough Puerto Ricans out there. If Puerto Rico had a much bigger population, Mayweather would see the dollar signs and would take this fight in a heartbeat.

 

that's a dumbass statement...I can count how many Ricans on esb...Most of his fans here are non Rican...for your info. BTW...PBF was offered a helluva lot of money to fight Margarito and he turned it down for a fight paying him less.:deal

It's funny that you say that my statement was stupid, yet your basing the demographics of Cotto's fan base by counting the number of fans he has on an internet message board. Let's use common sense here. Cotto is a Puerto Rican fighter who lives in Puerto Rico and doesn't speak alot of English, he also hasn't had many big fights. It doesn't take a genius to realize that the majority of his fan base are probably Puerto Rican, otherwise Arum wouldn't be insistent on having all of his fights in Puerto Rico, Jersey, and New York.

 

i feel like mayweather should just stop stuntin and fight cotto however maybe one mor big cotto win could push the sales over the top however cottos momentum could slow

Foreman said that when he came back he understood that if you don't make noise nobody will notice you, that is kinda true with Cotto, and I do agree that Cotto should start making some noise, so should Williams. But it really doesn't matter, because Mayweather would beat them both . . . badly.

 

Mayweather made 8.1 mil in the Baldomir fight, and won the lineal championship. I would have done the same and so would u :yep

Let PBF go to retirement . . . while Cotto fights Williams, Cintron and DLH. When PBF decides to comeback and fight . . . Cotto will still be right in front of his face. :yep

Cotto cannot just event a new personality overnight.

 

Cotto's personality is, again, the perfect contrast for Floyd's and will, again, make for a nice good guy/bad guy 24/7 series. Instead of England this time, it'll be Puerto Rico.

Also, the fact that Cotto could barely speak English won't help with the trash-talking.
