An iPod is an Apple product. You could ask if he uses his cell phone as an mp3 player. Reminds when I sold the ****ing things: "So, what's the difference between an iPod and an mp3 player?" ARGH! It's an iPod touch he's using.
That might be because of the way you run... I read in an article and interview about this old ass dude in his 40's or 50's who runs MILES with no shoes on. There is a tribe in Mexico that run in sandals for HUNDREDS of miles and these people can range anywhere from 12 to 60 years old across ****in' mountain ranges and ****... It was said that runners who run and hit the ground from heel to toe give themselves knee problems because all the inertia and force dies right at the heel and shoots up the entire leg putting most of the pressure on the knee to keep straight. But if you run and you allow yourself to land on the ball of your toe this would mean your knee is slightly bent which would actually allow the pressure to be exerted elsewhere and what not... this whole thing was recently on a Bryant Gumbel special...
I do that with 4 Run Run backwards (1st mile) Side step one direction switch (2nd mile) karaoke one way switch (3rd mile) then power walk for a mile while catching my breath
