I can see this, they have to use what they have, and Cotto doesn't have much reach.

I can see your a Pascal fan but I question for you? Who do you think is gonna win the rematch between Bernard Hopkins and Chad Dawson being that both guys fought your fighter Pascal?

I know what Floyd could do when he was in his early and mid-twenties and fought more-competitive fighters. THAT Floyd Mayweather no longer exists. I am amazed by how much Mayweather has regressed.

I can't imagine what Floyd was thinking when he chose Cotto - who is so different from the soft opponents Mayweather has lined up for years. Maybe Mayweather drank his own bathwater after KOing Ortiz? Maybe Floyd was so desperate to stay out of jail that he had no real alternative? Maybe Floyd needed some more money to supplement his "Gambling Income"? Or maybe a combination of all three?

An inside fight would be the right tactic but only if cotto can become a lot more active than he has been throughout his career. You cant fight inside if you are not a busy active fighter in the ring. So i doubt that's the tactic he will use and even if they try coming in it will change during the fight.

I think Cotto has got to get close to trade punches effectively and set up a defense-thru-offense so-to-speak. If Cotto lingers on the outer edges of Mayweather's pocket I think Floyd will pop him real good - and a lot of times. When he doesn't want to trade, then I think he should stay well outside Mayweather's pocket.

Contrary to popular belief, Floyd is comfy fighting on the inside. Floyd will cut him up on the inside with those eight ounce gloves.

To fight inside you have to get in , in the 1st place

    :nono

Variety , and body attacks is the way ahead against Floyd Mayweather , easier said than done :deal Jose Luis Castillo has done it , but Cotto aint got the tools Castillo had back then
