have you ever heard anything stupider from a corner?

if cotto aint gonna be hiring a world class trainer he should atleast get back together with his uncle.

yeah, cant remember which round though, cotto's corner was so unorganized, at one time his father jumped into the corner and said "its ok we are all here for you" -i mean WTF!?

Evangelista used to be the boss of his corner.

  4. Yea I just watched the replay of that fight on HBO, Cotto's corner was embarrassingly bad. Any respectable trainer would have pulled him out of the fight after 8 or 9.

nah i dont think too much of floyd sr as a trainer, he tries force one style on his fighters.

Roger is the best trainer in the family, listen to Rogers corner advice and listen to floyds, Roger gives tactical advice (although sometimes hard to understand) while floyds is just "use your jab" or "looky here".

Well that might be true, I do think he is a bit overrated....as he never developed anybody on his own, except his son...I give sr. more credit for developing jr. at a young age then I do roger.....

Oscar said floyd, sr. was the best trainer he ever had...I certainly don't think he is bad.....but he would only be good with a certain stye, like you said....I'm curious how paulie would do with someone like sr.? His new trainer sherif younan has brought him back...

Someone for cotto, would be maybe steward....

oscar was just sucking up, just like he did with roach and nacho when they were training him, it was obvious Oscar was at his best with Alcazar.

Roger doesn't teach one style, he adapts to his fighters, he has many different styles of fighters, amateurs and pros, he is also the mastermind behind all of floyds gameplans.

i think roach could do wonders to cotto, and so doesnt roach. hes been interviewed saying he feels he could bring the best out of cotto and thinks hes a hell of fighter but has a few things he needs to work on

Steward couldn't teach Hearns how to tie someone up, and that is what Cotto needs to do.
