Could 168lbs become as hot as Welterweight and Lightweight

    Everyone is in agreement the two hottest divisions over the bast 2 years have been Welter and Lightweight.

    but with guys like Pavlik, Wright and Abraham all able to fight there, along with Calzaghe, Dawsom and Jones Jnr all able to come down it looks a top division. add to the fighters already in the mix, Taylor, Lacy, Bute, Froch, Pascal, Miranda, Inkin and a couple of decent names coming through, you have a very good top 15.

    Its possible. Welter is overrated a fair bit imo.

    Sure and that's a great thing because the Super Middleweight division has been known to be poor for a long time. I know this is a bit off-topic but I had to bring it up, still I can't understand why Taylor vs Lacy isn't getting enough attention, I know there are many better fights coming up in November but this one is a very good fight too, it was more like a dream fight when both guys were on top, I know Lacy isn't the same and neither is Taylor but it's still a good fight that deserves some attention at least. I also heard that it might not even be televised, is that true?

    Had to get it off my chest since it's related to the division.

    i would not say taylor is the same, just think Pavlik is the style of fighter he will always loose to, which is why i give lacy a shot.

    the reason this fight doesnt deserve to attention is because its not the best fight that could get made. Taylor could be fighting Froch for the world title but instead he took the easiar option.

    I think Taylor might have lost some motivation as he has accomplished too much way too soon after beating Hopkins, after the fight with Wright he didn't look that good to me, except for his fight with Pavlik of course where he showed up in awesome shape.

    It's a very good fight, we don't really know if Lacy will be an easier option right now, Taylor is coming off two major losses his self and Lacy hasn't looked any good since losing to Calzaghe. As a come-back type of fight for Taylor this is a great one and could prove to be more than a just "come-back".

    Yea, it looks pretty good, I just hope i can get a live streaming for it after the Haye fight, it should be a good night.

    Yup, too many good fights coming up all the way to the end of December, boxing is on fire right now.

    Yup, pijo kept me updated there with his link, I made a few searches on it and couldn't find anything now I know it's going to be on HBO. Great news.
