Take the Olympic format, have one fighter in every weight class and make all the fights 10 rounds. have maybe 30 countries involved. or more. Have each match count as a point and which ever country gets the most points after a meet advances.... I think this could potentially be a great idea for the sport. thoughts?

Damn. That's a good idea. How do we make it happen?

How about a "Ryder Cup" style Europe vs USA battle every couple of years.

It'd get a lot of activity on here...

It'll be impossible to get the big names involved. Fighters and promoters would see a massive drop in revenue.

the big named fighters would not be taking place in this unless there is Big $$$ Involved.
Unless is big named fighters fighting for country pride.

Good idea. The Olympics used to serve a similar purpose, but they destroyed amatuer boxing a few years back.
