no he wouldnt beat Fedor. Fedor would take him down at will easily and sub him by what ever he wants, and if he want, he could hang with Silva on his feet.
LHW is his limit. No disrespect to A.Silva, but some others HW would beat him quite easily due to size.

so you feel that A.Silva is a more dangerous fighter on his feet, than Cro Crop?

Yes very much so to me I think the one huge threat with Cro Cop is his left kick aside from that I dont think his standup is that special. Anderson to me has better movement,a better chin which always helps,I find him to have better boxing skills and his clinch is much more deadly. Anderson Silva is much better on his feet and overall then Cro Cop.

and one of his hands was a giant grappling claw and the other was a hammer? And his eyes shot laser beams and flames came out his nose.....

Who'd win? Fedor or Super Silva?

I'd say no. It's not much about the weight difference. But more about the stylistic approach.

Anderson Silva is "overall" a solid striker , a solid sub artist. + generally has great gameplans and his speed is pretty good too.

If you look at anderson's career , you'll notice that he's been subbed twice (as in..legit losses...no flukes nor cut stoppage)..Two legit losses by submission. Once from Chonan & another from Takase.

(i do not count his 3rd loss vs Okami because it's a DQ . He also lost his debut fight by decision , but for the sake of the arguement , i'll just concentrate on his losses via sub )

    SUBMISSION DEFENSE
The crucial difference between anderson's sub defense & fedor's...is that one happens to be "solid" , and the other...Is , more in a league of his own. I know that it sounds pretty vague , but in a nutshell , fedor is "the" reference in that department.

    SUBMISSION OFFENSE
Anderson prefers to finish his opponents by ko or tko...but is also very capable to submit them if needed to. But again , see above...Fedor is also in a league of his own. The only critic you can say about fedor is that he's not as original as a "shinya aoki" or "rumina sato"...You won't see him pulling gogoplatas or acrobatic stuff...(although he's capable to pull some insane moves too)...But he's very aggressive , fast and his sub attempts rarely fail.

    GROUND DEFENSE
Fedor's balance is the best in mma. (that's why he's very dangerous even when he's on his back). And he's never been subbed.

    GROUND OFFENSE
Fedor's g&p is the best in mma. (but it seems that he's more into subs than ground and pounding his opponents to a pulp now...a few years ago , he used to really abuse everyone ...in a very brutal manner)

    STRIKING OFFENSE
Anderson has a higher KO ratio than emelianenko's.. his record speaks for itself. I find anderson to be more polished with his punches too.

    STRIKING DEFENSE
I'd say they're about the same...Fedor makes a few defensive mistakes here and there but he's deceptively fast...that helps him a lot.

    SPEED
Anderson is pretty fast...Fedor is surprisingly fast. And not just fast for a HW. No need for Anderson to be HW to compare. Fedor manages to pull certain moves at an incredible speed...

    STAMINA/ENDURANCE...
Anderson silva is more than capable to last the distance...Same case with fedor. But there's another crucial difference between the two. Fedor is generally way more "active". He keeps a very intense rythm for the duration of the entire fight. Not a lot of fighters are capable to keep a very active & consistant pace...Fedor does it.

Another fighter who's capable to pull this intensity during combat is eddie Alvarez , and also Mitsuhiro Ishida. incredible workrate..

    WRESTLING offense / defense
Fedor is not the best wrestler in the world...And he fought several opponents who were way better than he was in thatb department but again , he's a very special case...The guy is amazing on his back...he can reverse the situation at any time...so he compensates some of his weaknesses with his insane balance. Anderson isn't the best in that discipline but he manages to pull it off (a victory) because he's very versatile...him & fedor are more or less capable to change the situation at any moment even against superior wrestlers. I'd say the very best non-wrestler who's capable to control his opponents & almost ridicule them is George St Pierre.
    That's one of his specialties.

    GAMEPLANS
As a long time viewer of mma , i'd say fedor has the best gameplans in the entire sport. Anderson's gameplans are solid though. The thing about fedor is that he's more or less like a chessplayer who's always 2 or 5 steps ahead...and when things aren't going his way , he manages to adapt to the situation in a matter of seconds (or minutes)...and still ends up winning.
He's not sticking to a particular gameplan (like Couture does...) & speaking of Couture He generally often has the reputation to have some of the very best gameplans too. (i'd also add Josh Barnett , Arona , Akiyama , Nogueira , GSP etc...)

I'd give a vast advantage to Emelianenko. But again , like i always say. A fight is a fight , and ANYTHING can happen. (see Rahman vs Lennox , or Penn vs Hughes II , Aerts vs Abidi , Sapp vs Hoost etc.... )

It would be Fedor's most difficult test. Tougher than Nog or Mirko. Anderson at 6'6/230 would be a monster. But I'm sure Fedor would find a way to get it to the ground and lock on a submission.

It wouldn't... (a better question: Would a natural 240 lbs version of Chonan be capable to pull "that sub" on a guy like fedor ? ) If we're talking about Anderson Silva , skills vs skills...the challenge would be part of the routine.
