Yeah, I think he can. The division is really weak and I think he can beat all of the belt holders not named Hatton.

Right time, right opponent, perfect oppertunity, yes, for a short time.
Belts are diluted versions of world titles that even a club fighter (a beloved, exciting popular one) like Ward could win .

    No.

He would give everyone a good fight, Ward always would.

But Holt has a combination of speed, power and boxing ability. His chin is his only real weakness, and I feel Ward would target the body, where Holt looks pretty solid.

Hatton would out-brawl him, Bradley is a very good boxer, super condition, intelligent and hard-working, he would outbox Ward, same goes for the quick, slick Malignaggi, who also has a very good chin and a lot of heart.

Ward... a EBU titlist. A PROTECTED titlist at that...
Not only could he not be a 140 champ today- He was lucky to GET a fight against Gatti and fortunate to have gatti fight like he does. It was tailor made for an upset story- other than a war- what is the legacy of Micky ward? Great fighters B+ fighter. Legit 140 presence though... I think not.

He would probably lose to all of the titilists.Besides the Gatti fight he doesn't really have another decent win and alot of dissapointing losses.

Mickey Ward sucked! Plain and simple!

Bradley would've beaten the hell outta him.

Paulie is nothing special, but he would have virtually shut Ward out.

Dont just limit it to those guys. Witter would have embarassed Ward as well.

Holt too. Holt is actually a very good technical boxer.

The only one I'd pick Ward over is Ricardo Torres.

    Nope.

    A B level fighter.

    A great trilogy with a B + level fighter.

More balls than 99% of all current champions.

But at the end of the day, a B level guy.

No. But anything could happen with a left hook like that.

Thats an insult to B-level fighters. Ward was a C- level fighter.
